God Rocks

Hey God just reminded me a few minutes ago that is just totally rocks!

Misti and I had been praying about what to give to missions this year. We always just decide on an amount and then work our budget out to fit it in. This year we decided to not really budget it, but to take away from another particular area of our budget every month and see how God provides that area. (not our car payment so don't worry). Well, I turned in my card today and then I went home to get something and checked the mail. In the mail was a card with a gift card for almost the exact amount of what the extra amount is that we were giving. WoW...only like 5 hours after I turned in my card God was already showing me that I should have had way more faith and promised a whole lot more $.

God Rocks...step out by faith and see how God will bless you.

Man, last night I watched one of the best football games ever. I am so stinkin tired today though. This Eastern Time Zone is killing me when it comes to sports.

Texas ended up beating USC and ending their 34 game winning streak...now Texas has the logest streak going with 20.

If I can impart any kind of spiritual truth in this it would have to be....um let me see...still thinking...okay, I'm too tired so I got nothing.

OLD

Last night I was watching the Orange Bowl and the coaches of the two teams were Bowden--76 and Paterno--79! The top to winningest coaches in Div 1a football going head to head. Paterno's Penn State team won in Triple Overtime!

While I sit here thinking about the game and the two coaches I can only pray that I have that kind of passion for my calling when I am that age. Heck if I could have that kind of passion for Christ and his ministry now! These 2 men have devoted their lives to a great game, but in comparison to us devoting our lives to God football, well it's just a game. Live your life this year with Passion and Purpose. Live to Win!

New Year

Happy New Year! Man, I can't believe how fast time goes by. Yesterday Misti and I celebrated our 12th Anniversary. Yep, she has put up with me for 12 years now.

I am going to try and keep this more updated this year, but we will see how that goes.
