Poor Dog

Last night I let the dog outside for a while and about an hour or 2 later I was ready to go to bed so I went out to get her. I called her and she wouldn't get up, and just laid there. She doesn't listen very well yet, so I just assumed this was one of those moments. Then I went out to unchain her and she was under the shed a little. When I got to her I realized she had somehow managed to get stuck under the shed. She couldn't hardly move and was just lying there. I don't know how long she had been there, but she was stuck pretty good. I tried to pull her out and couldn't get her out. She was stuck! I finally got a little hammer, which is all I could find and began to dig her out. After about 10-15 minutes she was finally free!

Not much of a story, but oh well. My dog is free.

T.O.

If you are a Eagles fan, or even a mild sports fan you have heard about T.O. To be honest I haven't heard the last info on what he is doing, but I'm assuming that he will be playing this year, because he likes the spotlight too much not to play.

My son, Derek was asked Misti the other day, "Why doesn't everyone like T.O.?" She said, well he has a bad attitude sometimes, because it is kind of hard to understand why he is wanting a new contract after just one year for me as an adult and he is only 7, so a bad attitude is an easy way to put it. So, Derek said, maybe someone should invite him to church. He needs to accept Jesus, and then maybe he won't have a bad attitude. He said, we need to go to one of their games and I'll invite him to church if we see him.

WoW...what child like faith! If anyone has good tickets to the Eagles game, or bad tickets if there is such a thing feel free to hook me and my son up. You don't want to get in the way of my son inviting T.O. to church do you? We could pray for him to get a new contract and then pray he tithes to First Baptist!

Have a good one,

Madden '06

FINALLY!

I just got done beating Drew in Madden '06! He has beat me like a drum over and over and I finally beat him by 3 points. I scored the go ahead TD with 8 seconds left. I'm sure you all are so glad that I put this on here!

Peace

Hospital

Today I was able to take Bro. Vaughn to the hospital to see his wife. She is in the hospital in Philadelphia so someone has to take him up there every day and then someone else brings him home every night. They are so thankful that the church people are willing to do this for them, and it makes you realize that this is what a church is all about. To be there to laugh when you laugh to cry when you cry to fart when you fart, okay maybe not that close. Every time Bro. Vaughn just says thank you and almost starts to cry. I just told him, hey you reap what you sow. They have been faithful to God and to this church for many years and now they are reaping what they have done for other people through the years.

Live your life so that when you are old you can reap the seeds of what you have sown....!

32

Man, I am getting old! Today is my 32nd Birthday, which also means it is my brother's 32nd Birthday as well. Last night at midnight I was wandering if I was older then him because it was only 11:00 in Texas, so it wasn't his Birthday yet. Oh well, like the 6 minutes that he was born before me really matters. How do I know they didn't mess up and I was actually the first one out.

Think about your life. I still remember back when I was a teenager and 32 seemed really old! Now, it doesn't seem all that old. At camp they talked about giving away 20,000 days...that is all you get as an adult. Think about the time you have now as a teenager. Think about what God wants for your life. Decisions you make now will shape who you are when you turn 32. I'm happier now aobut some of the decisions I made back then, because there is no telling where I might be right now if I hadn't been listening to God way back when I was in Jr. High and High School. KEEP HIM FIRST NOW, so you won't have any regrets when you are OLD LIKE ME!

I still wish I would have gone to prom instead of playing basketball that night...oh well at least my date went to prom...actually now that I think about it, it is good that this white boy with no rhythm didn't go to prom. She would have been as embarrased of me as I was of one of my other girlfriends when they had Cheerleading practice in front of the whole school. Man, she stunk and I was so ashamed!

Michael

Summer

Man, this has been a great summer. First I got to go to Jr. High camp for a couple days, then I got to go to King's Dominion.

A couple weeks later I had the opportunity to fly out to Montana. I had never been to Montana before, and I was a little nervous. I had never met the people out there and I was going to speak at their Summer Camp. There was about 45 kids there and God really did some cool things. We saw 6 kids come to CHRIST! I even tried a little fly fishing. I caught a mushroom and a weed!

I got back from Montana late Sunday night and then started a week of vacation. My brother and his family were in town and we did all kinds of stuff. We went to an Orioles game, Atlantic City to the beach, N.Y. City for a Broadway show and several other things as well. While seating on the Boardwalk eating some donuts my brother's little girl, Blaire, had her donut ripped out of her hand by a bird, and my brother also got pooped on!

Last week we headed to summer camp, and that was awesome as well. Jordan MacDowall, Josh MacDowall and Kelli Fuller all got saved! God was awesome. I pray that all of you who made decisions at camp will let God continue to speak to you and work in your lives.

COREY...watch out for Mike Pru's towell!

You guys RULE
