Looking Better

Well the doctor finally called today and told Misti that the tear of the placenta was really really small and there really wasn't too much to worry about. She said she should be fine to go back to work, but to take it easy.

She has another appointment on November 10th to finally meet the doctor and they will check up on everything then.

Baby

Hey, yesterday we went to the doctor and had an ultrasound. It was so cool to see the little lima bean with a heart beat. The baby is 6 weeks old. They said the due date is 6-16-6...we pray that the baby is not born 10 days earlier than that because then he/she's birthday will be 6-6-6!

Pray for Misti and the baby. They put her on a 48 hour bed rest for now. She is not suppose to get up except to go to the bathroom. They put her on bed rest because the Placenta (sp) is partly torn away from the uterus and that is not a good thing. The baby is not in any danger right now, but if that doesn't heal and it gets worse it could become a problem.

Misti was at a high rate for miscarriage because her progesterone (whatever that is) levels were really low. They needed to be above a 15 and it was at a 10. We just got the results back from her blood work and the level of that has gone up to 19, so that is looking good!

Please keep Misti and the baby in your prayers.

Derek is super excited about being a big brother...he tries not to show it, but he is. Shannon Horton gave us a picture frame that said "Me and my big brother" on it, and Derek got a huge smile on his face and said..."That's me, the big brother"

And...i have a picture of my little lima bean, or as derek called it my little mustard seed if you want to see it.

BABY

Now when you hear the word BABY, what comes to mind. Maybe it is someone acting like a baby. Maybe you think of dirty diapers or no sleep. Well....last night Misti stayed home from church because she has a sinus infection and the flu. The doctor wouldn't give her a prescription until she took a pregnancy test because she had been late for you know what for a while. Well, Misti was like...there is no way I could be pregnant. So, at 7:10 when we are getting ready to start church Misti calls me and says, I'm might be pregnant. She said the test says I am, but I want to take another one to make sure. You see we had tried for like 5 years to get pregnant and the last year or so we just figured it wasn't going to happen and if God wanted it to happen then so be it. Well I got home about 10:45 from church and going to the store last night and well.....Misti is pregnant!

God does answer prayers, but in HIS TIME! Derek said, "I knew God would give us a baby". Derek is excited to finally be a big brother. He told me that now he as an older Stister in Heaven and now maybe he can have a younger one here." He also said, he kind of wants a brother more, but he also wants a sister because then his cousin Reagan will have a girl to play with.

Please pray for Misti and the baby, she had a mis-carriage on the first one and had a pretty rough time with Derek. In that case pray for me too....the hormones are crazy!

God is good.

Sick Computer

Man, my computer got a virus this last week and totally crashed! I have someone who is trying to fix it for me and I'm suppose to go pick it up 2night. I've missed my little baby. I pray that it has everything back on it.
